I didn’t think I’d ever paint with coffee. With coffee you get an interesting surface, which can’t be compared to watercolour. Also the colour effect is different. Depending on the lighting, the dried paint, if applied thickly, has a nice bronze shimmer. This time I only used soluble coffee for this picture. This colour solution works better for me. It can be mixed more concentrated and dries faster than ordinary coffee. The flowers are painted with watercolour and I have also set some accents with a gold pencil. Unfortunately these are not to be recognized on the photo.

Since 2014 I have been writing and illustrating books for children, mainly for preschool age. In the meantime I have published three animal stories. More picture books are in progress. If you are interested in readings (Kindergarten), my books or any illustration work, please feel free to contact me. I live with my family and a funny poodle in the beautiful Weserbergland, Germany.
