Not everybody liks it wet. Sketchbook Drawing

Over the holidays, I browsed a little on the Internet for sketchbooks. I usually use cheap books with thin paper quality. But this time I wanted something special: the booklet for particularly lovingly designed ideas.

As I still have to wait until the parcel carrier delivers them to me, I rummaged in my old sketchbooks and found these charming animal sketches. The two drawings were made last year during the long dry summer. At that time we all waited for rain, especially the garden owners. When the rain came, the reaction of our poodle Charlie was boisterous jumping and great joy. Neighbor’s cat, however, was not at all enthusiastic about her wet paws.

Since 2014 I have been writing and illustrating books for children, mainly for preschool age. In the meantime I have published three animal stories. More picture books are in progress. If you are interested in readings (Kindergarten), my books or any illustration work, please feel free to contact me. I live with my family and a funny poodle in the beautiful Weserbergland, Germany.
